Stylish, spacious private room for five.
5 guests · Studio · 3 beds · 1 private bath
Japanese Airbnbs tend to be on the smaller side, especially in large metropolitan areas like Shinjuku. This is why this large private room in a resort is a god-send for travelers in a group that exceeds the typical two.
The space is large and stylish, offering a warm tone that is very inviting. While it is a private room, there is actually a kitchen and a bath already included.
The place is located in Shinjuku so there’s basically everything nearby. The room itself is a really great place to stay and both first and second-floor rooms are completely private so there’s really nothing to worry about. I would definitely recommend this place for a little party or gathering up to about 5 or 6 people! – Haruka

After having our original Airbnb canceled at the very last minute (note 1 hour before check-in), we were frantically trying to find an alternate place for our family of four to stay in for 6 nights (imagine the stress). Cookie’s listing appeared, and initially, I was hesitant as there were no reviews for this place. Still, her quick responses and positive reviews for her other properties made me confident in choosing this listing. Cookie was very accommodating and waited for us until 10pm despite her office closing at 8, and we appreciate her for that. The cookie also explained that this place was a brand new property on Airbnb, and we were the first to rent it out. The place itself was spotless, air con in lounge and bedroom, decent bidet, spacious bathroom/laundry, and comfortable beds. No dryer but a balcony to hang up clothes. Plenty of space for a family of four and our luggage. The location was good and close to Shin Obuko for the Yamamoto line, and we were relieved that this was far from the seedy areas of Shinjuku. Many eating options around 24Hour Sukiya, Japanese curry restaurant, and sashimi place within a 1-minute walk from the apartment. Even an Anytime Fitness around the corner if you want to keep fit. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone, especially families looking for a spacious place to stay and want to be nearby strategic facilities but not too close to the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku. – Ardi

Cookie’s place was clean, easy to get to, and in a great neighborhood. The check-in process was very easy and we got into the place very quickly. I would recommend staying here as it is in the heart of Shin Okubo and has big beds. Thanks, Cookie! — Aaron

Katie and her team were definitely very professional in managing their guests. They responded immediately to all my inquiries and requests. My family and I had an amazing stay in Katie’s apartment because the location was very convenient. We were surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores. Modern luxurious glasshouse with the rooftop balcony
6 guests · 2 bedrooms · 3 beds · 1 bath
If you’re looking for a more opulent option to make your Shinjuku visit extra special, this glasshouse is a must-book! It offers glass walls literally in contrast with furnished flooring and furniture.
It’s a great place for six people and has a rooftop balcony to enjoy the early morning Shinjuku air and bustle. If you’re worried about privacy, you can always pull up the blinds.
The pictures do a great job of showcasing the place’s unique and beautiful design. Everything in the house has its perfectly allotted space which I found really cool and well thought out. The kitchen is charming to cook in and allows you to be social with someone in the dining room or living room while cooking, which is nice. The rooftop is a great place to sit and have a beer in the afternoon or have coffee in the morning! Since it’s entirely windows, it gets bright in the morning, which can be challenging for the night owl, but I found it a nice way to wake up. It’s not far from a couple of different subway lines, so quite convenient, and the neighborhood is super quiet at night. I’d highly recommend staying here; it’s definitely one of the coolest places I’ve stayed in Tokyo. – Gavin
Chic apartment with breathtaking patio view
4 guests · 1 bedroom · 1 bed · 1 bath
While Shinjuku apartments tend to be one-rooms, this apartment with an attached balcony is a one in a million gem! It offers a balcony that overlooks the Shinjuku skyline. In the morning, you can get some sun and fresh air.
At night, you can drink and hang out with friends. The inside is chic and stylish and equipped with all necessities.
You can expect the great view of Tokyo Skytree from the very spacious balcony! We enjoyed having dinner out there and we loved it! I stayed here with three other people and didn’t really have any problems, but maybe less than four would be more suitable as there’re only two chairs in the room (as of September 2020). As to customer service, it was satisfying – quick response and clear instructions for check-in/out and directions from the station. It was really helpful! 🙂 Overall, it was a nice experience. Thank you very much! – Maho
