Giorgio Armani Nuda & Vivid Coral Lip Maestros Reviews & Swatches

Giorgio Armani Nuda (107) Lip MaestroGiorgio Armani Nuda (107) Lip Maestro ($38.00 for 0.22 oz.) is a medium-dark, pinky-beige with warm undertones and a cream finish. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, creamy consistency that felt like a velvety-gel as it wore throughout the day. Of the shades I’ve tested over time in this formula, it wasn’t quite as smoothing as other ones I’ve tried. It lasted well for five and a half hours and felt hydrating over time.

Formula Overview

$38.00/0.22 oz. – $172.73 Per Ounce

The consistency has more slip and a velvety-smooth feel that softly “clings” to the lips, so while the finish has a glossier look for the first few hours, the color stays on well. If you’ve ever used a silicone-based primer, there’s a bit of that feel to the formula overall. Most shades last between six and eight hours on me, are non-drying to lightly hydrating, and comfortable to wear. The formula is unscented and has no discernible taste.

The Lip Maestro Notorious formula is supposed to have a “luminous matte” finish with “8 hours of wear” and “high pigment.” The Notorious shades are inspired by “chic Hollywood glamour” but otherwise appear very similar in feel to the original Lip Maestro formula.

Giorgio Armani Vivid Coral (307) Lip MaestroGiorgio Armani Vivid Coral (307) Lip Maestro ($38.00 for 0.22 oz.) is a vivid, medium orange with warm undertones and lighter, golden orange pearl throughout. The texture was smooth, fluid without being too slippery or thin, and had good adhesion as it set slightly (but it was not transfer-resistant). It had nearly opaque pigmentation that applied evenly and stayed on well for six and a half hours. The formula felt lightly moisturizing while worn.
