Easy Ways to Pay Your SSS Contributions Online

How to Pay Your Monthly SSS Contributions Online

One of the most tedious tasks to do is paying bills. Before, we all had to physically go to banks or bayad centers to pay utility bills every month– which can be exhausting at times, having to brave the heavy traffic and long lines. The good thing is, in the age of digital payment channels, gone are the days when we’d have to actually go to banks. Instead, with just a few clicks, we can pay all our bills without having to go out — which is actually safer, more convenient, and just as reliable as going to SSS offices.

Easy Ways to Pay Your SSS Contributions Online

For business owners, OFWs, or self-employed workers, there are now more ways to pay your SSS monthly contributions online. We have created a guide for you on how to pay your SSS contributions via different online payment channels. Let’s get started!

Before we proceed, make sure to do the basics:

Q: What are the requirements in paying your SSS contributions?

Answer: You’ll only need three things: your Payment Reference Number (PRN), your chosen app to pay, and your payment!

Q: What’s a Payment Reference Number (PRN)?

Answer: The PRN is basically your personal number that you have to use to remit your payments online. Without this, you can’t proceed with your payment. This PRN expires every after the due date, so you must carefully check your PRN for each contribution before proceeding with the payment.

Q: Where can I get my PRN?

Answer: There are many ways to get your PRN, aside from going to the nearest SSS branch. Here are some of them:

Download the SSS Mobile app and create your own My.SSS account. Once registered, you may generate your PRN by tapping the “Generate PRN/SOA” icon on the app.

Call the SSS PRN Helpline at 920-6446 to 55 or the toll-free hotline at 1-800-10-2255-777 from Mondays to Fridays.

Email a request to PRNHelpline@sss.gov.ph to know your PRN.

Once you’ve secured your PRN, make sure to save it as you will need it to pay your contributions online. There are many ways to pay your contributions, and here are some of them. Feel free to choose which way to pay is more convenient for you!
